The Omega Chronostop Ref. 145.007 is a classic vintage timepiece introduced in the late 1960s, part of Omega’s iconic Chronostop line. The Chronostop series is renowned for its minimalist yet functional chronograph design, tailored for enthusiasts seeking a simple, stylish, and practical stopwatch function.
This Omega Seamaster Chronostop 145.007 from 1968/9 has an original dial that has beautifully aged to give a wonderful patina. The white ring had naturally discoloured to give an almost burnt look or effect.
A truly rare find as this Chronostop is unlike any others and has the box (later Omega box), Original wallet, Omega Warranty papers, instructions and purchase receipt (first sold in April 1969) for the princely sum of £38.10.
In fine working order we believe this watch to also have the original Omega clasp and black leather strap.
41mm steel cushion shape case. Black dial with originally white rind around it. Striking orange second hand all functions work as they should
Operating from the legendary 865 manual wind movement which should give a power reserve of up to 40 hours.
Pleixglass and due to age not considered waterproof.

Condition -Marks, scratches etc consistent with age, we have certainly not polished. Plexi could be replaced upon request but for us its best left as it is.
Working Order -Running at give or take +/- 20 seconds per day, amplitude 286. Can be serviced upon request at additional cost.
