A very rare example of a classic Vintage Rolex Datejust 36mm. With a special ‘computer’ dial – take a close look!

This Rolex Datejust is presented in excellent working order.

The Datejust 16233 is just a classic Rolex! From the last 80’s to the early 2000’s this model symbolised Rolex and the era. 36mm stainless steel case (considered the perfect size), yellow gold fluted bezel and almost always fitted to a Rolex steel and yellow gold Jubilee bracelet.

What makes this particular 16233 that little more special is the so called ‘Computer’ dial, a Rolex factory made dial produces in very small numbers. There are very few of these available anywhere! Look up closely and you will see the ivory-coloured dial appears to have ‘Rolex’ embossed across it.

We have taken a conscious decision to leave this 1988 Datejust as it is, meaning not polished or having changed the crystal however should you wish, we can do both of these, it just takes 2 or 3 days longer to dispatch the watch.

Accompanied with inner and outer box, wallet, manuals original Rolex papers dating the watch to a production year of 1988 as per the serial number.

Operating from a 3135 Calibre movement that provides this watch with a power reserve of up to 42 hours. Fitted to a Rolex Jubilee bracelet with sufficient links to fit a wrist to 17.5cm (additional links available upon request).

Condition – Left unpolished so will show marks and scratches as to be expected of a watch of this age. Can be polished upon request.
