The SoftWatch name and concept are closely tied to Salvador Dalí’s artwork, specifically his iconic painting The Persistence of Memory (1931). However, the SoftWatch timepieces were produced by a French company called Exaequo in the 1990s. Exaequo held the International Patent 121257 for these watches, which were directly inspired by Dalí’s surrealist vision.

This Softwatch Salvador Dali 121257 is different from many of the others due to its unique features,
This SoftWatch has an oblong case shape, wider than most, almost in the shape of the ‘scream’ face. Black dial with gold coloured stainless steel bezel to match the case and the crown. The black leather strap completes the look.
Black roman numeral hour markers in a way that only a SoftWatch can. Quartz battery powered with recent battery change.
