The WWW Dirty Dozen watches are perhaps the most popular and collectible watches amongst all those issued to the British Army. This is perhaps because they were the first to be specially designed and custom made for the British Army.

Timor Dirty Dozen W.W.W Military Watch

WWW stands for Watch, Wrist, Waterproof and was the descriptive code used by the
British Army to identify it as a piece of equipment.

The Timor WWW circa 1945 forming party of the much sought after ‘Dirty Dozen’ collection of British Military Watches. Thought to have been around 13,000 made this is one of the few that would have survived in original condition.

Many were reworked, returned to the MOD, destroyed, loft or forgotten so how many actually survived to this day is anyones guess but fair to assume we think that not many would be available to this day.
