While specific documentation regarding Tissot’s contracts with the Czech military is limited, it’s known that Tissot supplied watches to various military forces during the 1940s. The Caliber 27 movement was favoured for its reliability and precision, making it suitable for military applications.

This rare Tissot subsidiary seconds 1930’s Czech Military watch operates from a Cal.27 movement.

Dial: Restored, matte-black signed ‘Tissot’, white ‘railway’ minute track on the outer perimeter of the dial, printed luminous Arabic numerals, seconds subsidiary dial at 6 o’clock, signed ‘Swiss’ at 6 o’clock, silver luminous hour, minute and second hands.

Condition: Excellent restored condition fully functional and serviced. The watch comes with brand new green nylon NATO strap (aftermarket) with steel buckle
