An exceptional vintage Heuer Autavia, reference 11630P, dating as early as 1972. This is a highly sought‑after configuration and one that has been kept as original as possible. Having recently passed through our workshop, it is in excellent mechanical condition and is running at approximately +6 seconds per day, which is remarkable performance for a chronograph of this age.

Historical Note
The Autavia was originally designed with functionality in mind, including use within the diving industry. By aligning the orange arrow on the bezel with the orange minute hand, a diver could easily track elapsed time at depth without exceeding decompression limits — a clever and practical feature of its era.
Our View
Many Autavia examples from this period feature cracked bezels or the reverse‑panda dial with black sub‑dials; this original white‑sub‑dial version is notably more desirable. With its honest condition, original dial, hands and bezel, and strong mechanical performance, this is a standout 11630P and a genuine opportunity for collectors.
