This highly sought after and very collectable IWC Mk 11 is considered a must for many Military Watch collections and possibly a prized part of that collection. What makes this particular one that bit more special is the ‘hooked 7’ which is highly unusual and even more rare than the standard model Mk 11.

In excellent condition defying the years and the intended purpose of a Military watch from World War Two. Marked 6B/346 on the rare case back which is the model and the mark from the British RAF followed by the marking of 1764/52 which provides us with the issue number and year of production i.e. 1952.

Manual wind operating from the legendary 89 Calibre it provides the wearer with the time being extremely accurate (the 89 Calibre is considered to be one of the most accurate ever in a Military Watch), clear and concise (such is the White Arabic Number markings over a Matte black dial) and durable. In fact the IWC pilot watch range is thought to be inspired by this very watch.

The clear and exceptional quality of the original dial has the markings of ‘T’ below the centre of the hands which denotes ‘Tritium Dial’ and above the centre of the hands we have the Upward point Arrow being the marking of the British RAF and then finally clear marked International Watch Company (IWC).

36mm Stainless steel case, plexiglass, Manual Wind with a 50 hour power reserve. Thought to be original and untouched the watch has been through our watchmaker to be offered in fine working order.
