An incredible timepiece just as it is, let alone the fact that this is an incredibly rare Vintage Italian Military Watch of which just 1000 were ever produced. How many remain? who knows but all we could find was one other that openly available. Many are thought to have been lost or misplaced over the years and the ones that survived are likely already in collections.

Putting aside the rarity and the military aspect to this watch its natural beauty makes nit what it is alone. A stunning white / ivory dial that has naturally discoloured and gained a patina over the last 70 or so years. Appearing to be an original dial unlike many it has remained original without being relumed or touched.

Beautiful bold dark numbers over the white dial gives a vintage look and feel yet was actually created to make it easy to read as essentially this was a tool watch created for service by the Italian Military.

At 38mm – 40mm with the crown, a perfect size for today’s market. This watch was made ahead of its time with the trend as although a Chronograph the dial is not to busy and the case just has the one pusher and crown. Excellent proportions it could in fact be an everyday watch.

Caseback marked ‘669’. Manual wind 15ch Caliber. Excellent condition throughout for a watch of this era.. In fine working order having passed through our workshop.
