Some vintage Omegas stand out because of their condition, whilst others stand out because of their rarity. This Omega reference 131.019 manages to offer both. Dating from 1967 according to its original paperwork, whilst its serial number suggests production in 1965, this elegant manual-wind dress watch features a highly unusual silver dial with applied silver numeral hour markers, offering a refreshing alternative to the more commonly encountered baton-marker configurations.
Presented with its original Omega box and original papers, this is a wonderfully preserved example of a classic 1960s Omega.

Our View
What immediately sets this Omega apart is the dial. The applied silver numeral markers give the watch a unique personality rarely seen on comparable 1960s Omega references. It retains the elegance of a classic dress watch whilst offering something genuinely different for collectors.
The condition is equally impressive. Finding an almost 60-year-old Omega with such a clean dial, excellent case presentation and original paperwork is becoming increasingly difficult. Combined with the original box and the reliable Calibre 601 movement, this is exactly the sort of vintage Omega collectors gravitate towards.
